He starts with a fresh vision of the Bible, as seen through gay eyes.The second act moves the characters into present day reality. By the end of the play these delightful souls have explored in all philosophical directions, learned, evolved, and grown. Biblical legends are replaced by an eagerness to confront life as it is. Adam tells his boyfriend Steve (who's been with him forever!), that when the baby is born to their best pals, lesbians Jane and Mabel, “I won't tell her about the Garden of Eden. I'll tell her about Central Park, where we met.”
