Evil Dead: The Musical is a musical stage play based on the cult classic film series.“Evil Dead: The Musical” is a laugh-riot, as it simultaneously pays comedic tribute to and pokes fun at Sam Raimi‟s Evil Dead franchise (Evil Dead, Evil Dead 2 and Army of Darkness), along with all B-movies in the horror genre. It surrounds five hapless college students on Spring Break at an isolated cabin in the woods who discover a “Necronomicon” – a book of the dead. What could go wrong? Unwittingly, the group unleashes wise-cracking evil demons bent on murder and mayhem. It‟s a hysterical struggle for survival, where everyone is treated to bad puns, potty-mouth humour and exuberant musical numbers like “All the Men in My Life Keep Getting Killed by Candarian Demons”, “Look Who’s Evil Now” and “Do the Necronomicon”.
