Looking Through Glass Onion (Musical)
John Waters 1992 Australian Tour
The solo works of John Lennon are, in a word, magic. His lyrics are deep, his angle was always politically controversial, and his presence oozes something unseen in so many artists today. Just writing about him gives me tingles. It was twelve years after Lennon’s death in 1992 that John Waters conceived of the show with musician Stewart D’Arrietta. The name, a lyric from a song off the influential White Album, is a “sort of retrospective on the whole Beatles era.
