The Perfectionist is a play and telemovie by David Williamson about an academic who is working on a PhD. An examination of marriage which follows a pair of academics from Denmark to Sydney as they blunder along the rival paths of career and parenthood. His wife hires a Danish student to babysit their children. David Keith Williamson, AO (born 24 February 1942) is an Australian dramatist and playwright.
